Finish Writing/Defending My Thesis I have been accepted to present a roundtable discussion of my thesis at this year's ArtsWork Symposium in Tempe, Arizona. Yippie! My thesis defense has been set for the week of May 19, 2008. Wish me luck! Submit to a Publisher a Preschool Picture Book I have written a preschool picture book ("My Aunt and I") and I have found the perfect publisher - Cartwheel Books. Now, I need to find an agent. Any suggestions?  I will be submitting my writing for consideration to the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (www.scbwi.org) for a small grant - Kimberly Colen Grant - due mid-September. The grant will allow me to focus on completing the illustrations of my book.
