| Toe Reading - What is it? |
 |
| What might these toes have to say? |
|
Toe reading is the metaphysical belief that a person's thoughts, feelings, and emotions show up physically in the shape, direction, and color of the toes. This belief system, based mostly on the Eastern philosophy of Reflexology, entertains the idea that the energy stored in the toes tells the tale of that person's life history. These stories, when not acknowledged, might keep a person from walking their highest purpose path. A toe reader is someone who honors the stories that show up in the physical manifestation of the toes. Through honoring these stories, a toe reader has the ability to present potential answers to some of life's most intimate questions. If you have unanswered questions in your life, a toe reader is someone who can help you find answers that are just right for YOU.

| Toe Reading - Who is Jamie Allen Bishop? |
 |
| Jamie Allen Bishop |
|
Jamie Allen Bishop has a Master Toe Reading certification from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) in Tempe, Arizona. She studied under one of the pioneers of this concept and the co-founder of SWIHA: KC Miller. Jamie has also been influenced at SWIHA by teachers such as Linda Bennett, Kaye Coleman, Cheryl Speen, and Earle Duskey, all influential beacons of love and light.
Jamie holds a Masters degree in Art Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing both from Arizona State University, also in Tempe, Arizona. Jamie has lived in eight states and has traveled to five continents, experiencing many cultures and living conditions.
Jamie's original major in collage was BioPsychology, which is (in short) the study of our brain chemistry. She couldn't find exactly where she belonged in the science/research world at the tender age of 20, but she has found that her science background coupled with her artistic inclinations join to support a philosophical interpretation of all that surrounds us.
Jamie believes that toe reading, much like reflexology, is a practice where science and nature collide. The more she learns about toe reading, the more she believes in the science behind the practice. It is no mistake that the bottom of our feet is referred to as the "sole".

| Toe Reading - What can it tell me? |
 |
| What can you tell about this young child from her feet? |
|
Toe reading is based on several philosophies, one of which is the five elements: Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.
-
The Air Toe (the second toe, next to your big toe) is all about communication, creativity, and analytical thinking.
Some other key philosophies to toe readings have to do with the left and right, or Yin and Yang. Your left foot is usually your Yin or internal oriented self - meaning this is your relationship to highest self or your spiritual path. Your right foot is usually your Yang or external oriented self - meaning this is your relationship to the external world you live within and how your present yourself externally (or how you think you are perceived by others). The two are (of course) intertwined, and one is only likely to be in balance when the other is as well.
The shape of the toe and/or toenail, the color of the toe and/or toenail, the condition of the toe/toenail, all play important factors in a toe reading. Toes, like fingerprints, are quite different from one person to the next. No two toes are exactly alike, though when you have toes that are like your ancestors, that's significant, too.
A toe reading can be an insightful way of looking at your life, viewing the path you are currently walking, and contemplating the conscious and unconscious choices you are making in your life. Or, a toe reading can simply be a fun experience.

| Toe Reading - What does is cost? |
There are five ways to enjoy the benefits of toe reading.*
(1) Private Toe Reading. Private toe readings are available by appointment at $1.00 per minute, with a 20 minute minimum. This is a fun way to get a quick glimpse into a specific area of concern in your life.
(2) Royal Toe Reading. This is a very popular way to receive a private toe reading, often for two, done in a special ceremony with a foot bath, anointing oils, and the 'cloth of knowing.' If you have a specific question you would like to have answered, this is the reading for you. A Royal Toe Reading is $1.50 per minute, with a 30 minute minimum.
(3) Online Toe Reading. Provide me with a close-up photograph of your feet (toes) and a short description of what I might not be able to see in the photograph (i.e., you may have a callous under your "little piggie" toe), I can provide you with an online toe reading. A two-three page detailed report of your toes is $50. A five+ page detailed report of your toes is $65.
(4) Group Toe Readings. This is - by far - the most popular way to enjoy the talents of a toe reader. When you have a group gathered, it is a lot of fun to have a toe reader as your unique entertainment. If you're hosting any type of event where the object is to have people mingle with each other, a toe reader can form a great ice breaker bond among the attendees. Toe Readings at events can be done individually or as a group. $175 for the first 2-hours, $60/hour thereafter.
(5) Toe Reading Events. I regularly attend local charitable and educational/wellness events. Often times, these events do not offer me a service fee for attending as a toe reader, but I offer my time and insight for "Love Donations". If you would like to know when/where I will be appearing as a Master Toe Reader, please register with your name and email address. I will send you periodic updates of where/when I will be giving these free toe readings.
Note: *As with any service industry (i.e., massage therapies, facials, nail services, spa treatments, etc.), it is customary to tip your toe reader when you are satisfied (or perhaps happily impressed) with the service you are provided.
