Pricing a mural project is difficult to do without details. When a new client says to me, "I would like to have an oasis painted in my backyard," what they are picturing and what I imagine might be very different. This is why a FREE* initial consultation is very valuable, important, and necessary for both you, the customer and me, the artist. Be very wary of any artist who offers you a price quote for a mural without having first met with you to discuss the project.
During your consultation we will discuss what you envision. If you just have a concept but no concrete ideas, I can also offer suggestions if you'd like. A consultation gives you the opportunity to meet me and see me "in action", and also gives me the opportunity to evaluate the mural site and better understand your needs. During the consultation, I will produce a concept drawing for your project to give you an idea as to how your finished project will look.
This drawing is what I use to give you a quote. The complexity and size of the design is what determines the cost of your mural project. Without this design, it is impossible for me to give you a quote.
My hourly rate is $65 per hour plus supplies** which, if you shop around, you will find to be among the most reasonable rates in Arizona.

* FREE consultations are available in person for Phoenix, Arizona residents (which includes surrounding cities within 40 miles of Central Phoenix - i.e., Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Avondale, Anthem, Queen Creek, etc.). Please inquire if you are unsure whether your city is within the Phoenix suburbs.
Internet consultations may be necessary for some clients outside this area. Travel outside the Phoenix area is subject to travel expenses. Please inquire for rates.
** Supplies are billed at cost and are yours to keep upon completion of the project.
